Rome

Adorned

In the emperor’s new clothes

We conquer

Together

You                              the land

Me                                the sea

In unison

We wilt

Fall

Like Rome

We are rebuilt in a day

  1. I like the way you’ve laid this out it’s really effective.

Clever! I read a few other poems of yours & enjoy your writing. You say enough to encourage thought but not so much that you give answers. It’s a nice tension & holds a person’s interest. God bless!

A wonderful 2014 to you, Benjamin.
