I found myself
When I lost you

I could only float
Through so many
Dreams and lies

Before I forgot
How to swim and
Drowned.

  1. I love how your writings are always so easy to relate to. That takes skill, my friend.

  2. Miranda Stone says:

Very succinct telling of a toxic relationship. I like it.

Thanks. I like succinct. And I like toxicity on the right things; a relationship is not one of them.

      • Miranda Stone says:

I like succinct, too. And I should have added, I like the poem–not toxic relationships! (Though I write about them often enough.)

      • bejamin4 says:

Haha, I knew you didn’t like toxic relationships. But they do make writing more interesting. Fictional toxic relationships aren’t too bad.

  3. Very powerful. It’s genius to say so much with so few words.
