Travel to this heartland
Where there is no land
In which to walk
Save for the clouds

Travel to this heartland
Without your heart
For there will be a new
Heart awaiting your landing

Travel to this heart
Land on the pulse
Drum on the walls
Beat out the block

Travel to this
Land of heart and find:
A home

Well done, Benjamin. This poem seems more upbeat and hopeful than some of your other work. Or am I reading it all wrong ? I hope not.

“Travel to this / Land of heart and find: / A home” A perfect ending. Beautifully written and stunningly deep.
