Through The Dust Of Destiny (Part V)

The comings and goings
of the water erodes our steps
so we retrace past moves
leaving timeless footprints.

Driftwood washes ashore
glistening treasures left behind
from our fusion of cravings.

The moon now sits
where the sun once was
for our time has been lost
in this realm of love.

We have surrendered to
celestial flows
breathlessly dreaming of
our soul-growing union.

The first stanza reminds me of a game of chess… The overall flow of these continuations are beautiful and captivating. Your both very talented and I love reading each new piece 🙂 good work to you both 🙂

Wow, I love this series! And the alliteration here with the “w” that you carry through the poem is fantastic. Especially love: “We have surrendered to/celestial flows”
