Everything but
You.

I’ve certainly been here. I suspect most of us have. I don’t ever like to assume that poems are autobiographical unless the author specifically states it. However, if you are writing these from recent personal experience, I hope the pain eases soon, my friend.

    I know this so well

Yes. It can be good or bad. Some people you don’t want to clear from your mind, I think. Those are the ones to hang on to.

      • Phen Weston says:

Oh my friend the stories we could tell each other over a pint πŸ™‚ we seem to have experienced similar things. But yes, it is good and bad definitely πŸ™‚ they are the ones, if only I’d realised at the time. But then I wouldn’t be with my fiancΓ© or as happy as I am… But she does linger greatly.

      • bejamin4 says:

Well, maybe we’ll get the chance someday :). There is never a better time to realize than right now. The past can make it a little easier to enjoy the present and future oftentimes. Glad to hear you have found your happiness! πŸ™‚

      • Phen Weston says:

It’s a date πŸ˜‰ haha. That is very true in every sense. Well said. Thank you πŸ™‚

      • bejamin4 says:

Haha, yes :). If I ever make it around your way we’ll have to figure something out.

      • Phen Weston says:

Sounds good, You’re always welcome my friend πŸ™‚
