What I Want To Write

I want to write the kind of words
That will kick you
Not in the gut
But in the soul

Though I don’t want to mend your heart
I want to break it into
A thousand pieces of a thousand pieces

Maybe then I’ll reform it until it is
What it always was supposed to be
Or what it was before you knew
It was your heart

Ya! Bang on. Me too. I want to write words that impact (ok, maybe kick 🙂 ) people in the soul.
Sounds like you’ve got some pretty deep feelings going on here Benjamin. I can feel your sheer uneasiness with them through this piece.
    Have a great week Benjamin.
    🙂

I really enjoyed this, Ben. A fantastic theme and set of images you’ve wonderfully combined. Completely brilliant!
